Oh my goodness, I'm afraid there wasn't our usual school newsletter this week due to the state of emergency on our school site. It rained (quite a lot) in Bellingham on Saturday night and our school has been flooded.

Thank you so much to our willing volunteers who  turned up with cleaning devices and a willingness to help out! It was very much appreciated. What a marvellous community spirit on a very special weekend.

It's been a bit of a tricky week but we're just about sorted with our plans for the weeks ahead. Please be assured that we will always try our best and do whatever we can to ensure a quailty curriculum for our children.
As our families in school are already aware we have secured alternative educational facilities at Kielder. This means that we can keep our children and staff together as much as possible providing a sense of continuity and support for one another whilst offering an exciting opportunity to our hosts in working together.
Our school is currently a hive of activity with contractors and representatives from NCC - we thank them for their swift actions following our flooding.
