School Closure information

When the school has to close due to severe weather conditions or other emergency circumstances, the school will issue a message on our Facebook page and to all parents via Parentmail.  We will also post a message, and any updates, on Class Dojo.

Information, where possible, will also be given on the following radio stations:

• Radio Newcastle (95.4fm)
• Radio Cumbria (95.6fm)
  

Information will also be passed to Northumberland County Council for inclusion on their website and closure updates.

Decisions to close the school will be made on the grounds of safety for pupils and staff.  This may include making an assessment of the school site and whether the grounds are unsafe.
